Police: Man who abandoned kids bailed out with stolen goods

filthy house used stolen property as collateral to bail himself out of jail, according to police.

Mark Dorson and Amanda Foley are accused of leaving three children, ages 7, 3 and 1, unattended in a house filled with garbage and feces. See photos of inside the house here.

A judge ordered a $100,000 bond for Dorson Monday, which his bail company would not pay. Dorson was remanded back to jail.

Foley has remained in jail since her arrest, also on a $100,000 bond.
The stolen property included a telescope worth about $3,000. Police told KIRO 7 they have recovered the stolen property from All City Bail Bonds.
